Camping

Alright! I know it has been a while since my last post. I'm discovering finding time to blog is difficult. Especially this time of year. Last week camping season begin. Now those of you who know me know that when I say I've been camping I don't mean in a tent, in the woods, without air conditioning and running water. I'm talking about Christian youth camps. Last we we had Middle School Camp at Table Rock. It was an amazing week. God showed up in some really cool ways. There could not have been one student who did not feel His presence.

I have always loved camp. The most important spiritual moments of my life took place at a youth camp in NC. It was there that I accepted Jesus as my Savior and surrendered my life to full-time Christian ministry. But, it was also a place where I made a lot of commitments I never kept. So today I left up all those young hearts who knelt before God last week. Being a consistent follower of Christ is the most difficult thing anyone will ever pursue. I pray, and I hope you will as well, that God will be more real in lives of those students than they ever imagined He could be.
