Senioritis?

Does anyone remember the last two weeks of your senior year in high school? If yours was like mine, you didn't do a thing. It was all about hanging out with your friends and counting all that graduation dough. I put it on cruise control and coasted to graduation.

I feel like I'm in the same mode right now (except instead of counting money, I'm pinching every penny). Two weeks from today we leave for vacation. I'm so looking forward to that (much needed) time away that I can't seem to focus on anything. This is very bad!! I have so much to catch up on before we leave, because of being gone two weeks for youth camps. As I'm trying to write and plan for up coming series for The Flame and events for our student ministry, all I think about is lying on the beach, eating crab legs, and playing golf with my Dad (not all at the same time). I'm sure you can identify.

There's so much work to be done! But all I'm thinking is, "Myrtle Beach or bust!"
